I'm totally down with the idea behind these and they are very clever and the actors are great. I hate "Jesus Junk" as much as the next person, so these resonate with me. Now I pick nits. The "follower" is a little too arch and hip - his attitude is almost mocking and uncalled for. I want to hug the "Christian" and invite him over for dinner and tell the "follower" to be nicer and to re-read that "speak the truth in love" part again. Silly old me. I am the media guy at my church. I LOOOOVE this commercial. So many people today are turned off by the "religion" of religion....if you know what I mean. So much of it is pointless and it has nothing to do with following Christ. I think these commercials do a great job of showing this. So many Christians are as my dad says "so heavenly minded they do no earthly good". As for the statement below about the Christian Music genres. I am a secular producer. I have a secular band, and we have had top 40 chart hits in Europe in the last year and a half. I almost NEVER listen to "Christian music" because so much if it is so poorly produced. On top of that...sometimes, secular songs are more "Christ relevant" than the Christian music....sometimes. If you want to make a difference in your world, you have to be familiar with it. Imagine...someone is talking about a new Kelly Clarkson CD, and you just stare like a deer in headlights. Or...Natasha Beding...who?

The videos are very well done and somewhat amusing. But I'm concerned about the increased frequency with which we like to be little ourselves. While I understand the point and concede the need for the church to do some self examination. Really who declared mac the better product in the first place, was it Mac? Well done, but I'm not sure who's being build up and how it benefits anyone who might be listening. But I like the creativity. Thanks Mark , Indiana
