It's sad when Christians are attacking and mocking Christians. When did "Christian" become a bad word in the church of Christ? We see this in "The Shack" for starters. Christian is a word used in the Bible, and we are told to not be ashamed of the name. Well, there were many who "followed" Christ, but not all were His disciples (Christians!) I'd rather be mocked by the "Christ followers" than give up being known as a Christian.

The word Christian literally means "little Christ" and was given to us as an insult in the first centuries of the church, but I don't think a better word could have been coined. Let us redeem the word itself by fulfillingits meaning a little better and not abandoning it for a new more "semantically correct" or less ambiguous word. If churches were more concerned with redeeming the culture they lived in by setting an example rather than cannibalizing the latest trends in pop culture, maybe the word Christian wouldn't be so irrelevant and vague.

i have to disagree with you shannon. its fine to have fun and be satirical, but this is satire that is trying to have a point. its trying to make fun of a certain group of people who are just doing their own thing. maybe if there were videos making fun of BOTH sides of this nonsense then it would be fine, but as it is, it is deragoatory and counterproductive. I am not even a christian myself, although i was raised as one. i just believe that there's shouldnt be different titles for "types" of christians or "christ-followers" or what have you. If all are working towards the same goal, i.e. loving everyone and living in the heart of jesus, then title or way to go about doing so shouldnt matter.
