With the best of intentions (and questionable lyrics), a singer/songwriter sets out to show how we can all change if we want to. But, as he stumbles through his “profound” new song, he quickly realizes maybe it’s not that easy. Change IS possible, but real change requires more than good intentions. A great set-up for any sermon that teaches that true transformation or change happens only through Christ and through our relationship with God. This video works well with messages at New Years, about God's grace, about how Jesus changes lives, about how God makes us new, and about how, through Christ, we can shut the door on the past and move forward toward the life God wants for us.

We played this in our church (in New Zealand) and it went really well. Lots of laughs, especially near the end. Good set up for a message on transformation. Thanks for the good material.

Hey, I really like this one! It is genuinely funny--especially "metamorphosize" and some of the lines in the middle--but it's also genuinely poignant. This would preach well.
